Syl leads Community Action Africa with vision, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting marginalized communities. With over a decade of experience in public service and legal advocacy, Syl has built a dynamic career grounded in human services, nonprofit leadership, and policy innovation. Her journey spans child advocacy and support enforcement, grassroots organizing, and cross-cultural collaboration, all anchored in compassion and a deep understanding of systemic challenge.
Syl blends strategic expertise with heartfelt connection. She empowers teams to mobilize resources, foster inclusive programs, and champion long-lasting change. Under her leadership, CAA continues to grow as a beacon of hope, driving forward impactful solutions that center equity, dignity, and community.

Victoria Nicol has spent over 3 decades of her life as an Information Professional and a Gender Activist in various institutions in Sierra Leone. Victoria holds a Masters of Science Economics in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. She is the Head of the Library and Research Unit at the National Minerals Agency.
Victoria is a very passionate and strong advocate of justice and support for victims and survivors of Gender Based Violence in Sierra Leone.

Patnacia Goodman is a former book editor and current graduate student from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With a deep love for helping others, Patnacia is excited about the work this organization is doing in the community. When she isn't reading or doing coursework, she enjoys travelling, visiting with her friends, and creating pottery.

Salamatu Ruth Sesay is a passionate advocate for equality and inclusion serving with empathy and commitment. Sal, is an alumnus of the Methodist Girls High School, and the Emil Bex College of Finance and Management where she obtained a Diploma in Marketing Management and Information Technology.
Salamatu worked as Assistant Secretary at G.K Tholley & Co Dijah med chamber for four years. In 2019, she went on to further her education at the Institute of Public Administration, (IPAM) where she studied Business Administration and Management. Salamatu is married with three beautiful children.

Fatmata Sia Koroma is a registered MCHA Nurse, and an alumni of the Ahmadiya Secondary School. She is a dedicated community development worker who volunteered as a nurse for the fight against Ebola, visiting Quarantine Homes to supply food and medical items.
Fatmata also worked with the Blue Flag organization, during the cholera outbreak in Freetown. As a health professional, she administered rehydration fluids to patients and advoated for clean environmental sanitation.

Marian Browne is a medical practitioner, a state registered nurse and a paramedic with over ten years work experience in the medical profession. Marian is is an alumnus of the Annie Walsh Memorial School and the College of Medicine and Allien Health Science, University of Sierra Leone.
Marian currently works with Education For All, as a school nurse. Her previous work experience as a registered nurse includes: Ola During Children Hospital, Ebola Centre, UNFPA, 34 Military Hospital, and Browne Medical Hospital.
