What began as grassroots food distribution to senior citizens in Freetown and care bags for unhoused individuals in Minneapolis has evolved into a cross-continental initiative rooted in dignity and sustainability. Our Community Hubs provide: Nutritious meals served with care and cultural relevance Wraparound services including housing referrals and GBV prevention Safe, welcoming spaces for community connection and healing By 2024, CAA had fed over 9,160 people—a threefold increase since its founding. Today, our hubs serve as anchors for long-term resilience, designed in partnership with local leaders to meet urgent needs while building pathways to systemic change.
